White peony is a delicate tea from the Fujian province of China. We carry the highest quality first grade whole leaves. White peony is made from tea buds collected and withered prior to opening. This allows the leaves to hold on to its flavour and create a refreshing and soothing taste.  It is naturally low in caffeine and people have enjoyed it for both it's delicacy and health benefits. We love to drink this tea for its calming effects which makes it a perfect alternative to the nightcap.

Appearance:
Brews into a pale yellowish golden color.

Aroma:
A delicate scent of green grass and pine wood.

Taste:
Delicate in taste showing off a slight hint of ginger and ginseng.  The tannins are light but noticeable when drinking, giving the tea its sweet smooth finish that lingers on the tongue.
