It is an herbal plant that produces a naturally sweetened drink with its honey scented flowers. The tea is caffeine free and can be enjoyed as a simple but yet multifaceted evening beverage.

Appearance:
Brews into a reddish brown hue from the red leaves.
Aroma:
A lighter version of the Rooibos with more notes of honey and hints of cinnamon. The wet earth component is apparent as in the Rooibos. Honeysuckle sweetness envelops the glass.
Taste:
Smooth to drink with little or no tannins. The honeybush imparts a slight cinnamon brown sugar with a light cedar bark finish.

I always wanted to try a Rooibos tea. I was rather surprised by how much I liked it. The Honeybush is my favorite over the regular Rooibos since this one is naturally lightly sweetened. Definitely worth a try!
