We carry top grade Organic African Honeybush. Considered to be the sister to Rooibos, the Honeybush tea got its start in Africa near the Eastern Cape.  It is an herbal plant that produces a naturally sweetened drink with its honey scented flowers. The tea is caffeine free and can be enjoyed as a simple but yet multifaceted evening beverage.

Appearance:
Brews into a reddish brown hue from the red leaves.

Aroma:
A lighter version of the Rooibos with more notes of honey and hints of cinnamon.  The wet earth component is apparent as in the Rooibos.  Honeysuckle sweetness envelops the glass.

Taste:
Smooth to drink with little or no tannins.  The honeybush imparts a slight cinnamon brown sugar with a light cedar bark finish.
