The origins of this Oolong stems from the tea leaves taken from the frozen peaks of the Wuyi Mountains in China’s Fujian province.  The cuttings from these plants have been transplanted to Taiwan to a village named Dong Ding where this variety now grows. This tea is often used for the Chinese wedding tea ceremony.

Brews into green golden in color.

Aroma:
A crafty bouquet combination of grassy rolling plains with fresh earth that has dried under the hot sun.

Taste:
An initial rooty bitterness prevails but flaunts its leafy green flavors once settled.  It has an exquisite dried peach finish that lingers on the palate.
